Well-Being & Mental Health

Well-being and mental health

Supporting employee mental well-being isn't just the right thing to do, it's imperative in commercial and business terms too.

1 in 4 of us experience some kind of mental health issue each year and yet 66% of managers wouldn't know what to do if someone in their team told them they were struggling.

Reach out to us in confidence if you want to improve the stats in your organisation.

We offer a variety of workshops that ensure your people deal well with stress & stay at the top of their game, and address mental health challenges which are hard to discuss, or may otherwise go unrecognised.

Mental Wellness

Feelings of anxiety, fear and loneliness are rife currently and seriously risk compromising our mental health; this workshop looks at how to understand and deal with those feelings in a work environment.

  • Understand the deep-rooted role and effects of anxiety and what happens when it ‘hijacks’ our behaviour
  • Learn a 4-step process for managing experiences of heightened anxiety, stress and being overwhelmed
  • Explore how we can practice compassion to ourselves and others
  • Identify ways in which we can self-care to protect our mental health

Mental Well-being for Managers

Line managers play a key role in supporting an organisation and individual employee’s mental wellbeing.

It is therefore pivotal that not only do they feel able to spot the signs of possible mental ill health, that they also feel equipped with the skills to provide support.

This workshop will help your managers

  • Understand the causes, signs and symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression
  • Understand the importance of culture, promoting openness, listening & trust upon stigma
  • Get comfortable with mental health conversations
  • Have confidence to offer appropriate first-line support in the workplace
  • Take care of their own mental well-being so they can support others

These sessions are led by an experienced Chartered Clinical Psychologist.
