Helen has been a professional coach for over 10 years and has extensive experience working with senior management teams and board directors.
Her corporate experience spans 26 years with her last role as Head of Learning and Development for Haymarket Magazines.
In addition to that she helps companies create coaching cultures and set up coaching academies to allow corporates to develop their own internal schemes.
Helen believes that coaching helps to facilitate change and accelerate learning to improve performance. Her approach is to use tools and techniques that are bespoke to the individual and to create thinking space, a real commodity in these challenging times.
Over the last 10 years Helen has worked with a variety of sectors including banking, pharmaceutical, engineering, retail and has a particular specialism in media.
Her recent clients include ITV, GlaxoSmithKline, News International, Macmillan Publishing, Mediacom and many more.
The coaching needs differ from person to person but recent assignments include: creating 100-day strategies, building confidence and influencing skills, transition coaching into a board position and leadership coaching as part of a programme.
Helen is passionate about the positive effects that coaching can have and this is reflected in her energy, focused approach and commitment to the industry.
She uses a variety of tools including the MBTI and is level B qualified in the use of a suite of psychometrics. Helen had regular supervisor and completes around 70 hours of CPD each year.
Helen is the Head of Professional Forums and Council member for the Association for Coaching, the largest coaching body in the UK. She is also a member of the EMCC, the BPS and Fellow for the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
